New Year

So I didn't manage to post for the last quarter of 2010. I'll try to post every month this year.

I started 2011 with a quiet night, then a crazy week and the best news for one of my friends. She has wanted to be a mom for years now and this week she became a foster mom - I am so happy for her and her new charge.

I now remember what drives me nuts about Texas weather (only took two years). When it's summer, it's summer alllll the time; but when it's winter it's only winter part-time. It was 70 degrees on January 8, and 40 on January 9. We will have cold weather all week, then it'll warm back up. I would prefer if our region could just stick to a season - but then it wouldn't be Texas.

My mom and her husband have settled in Pfugerville for the most part. We have three contented cats and we just keep chugging along.
